I have always been a frequent shopper of Francesca’s Boutique and absolutely LOVE their clothing and style. They have unique trends which is what I tend to gravitate towards rather than clothing/styles that you can find almost anywhere else. I signed up for their emails because of how much I found myself shopping and buying products from their store, I wanted to become informed whenever they had any type of special offers or sales that were going on. I usually receive emails from this company every single day, and I only read a small amount of them because I rarely look at any of my emails, but the ones that can catch my eye I usually read. What led me to this one particular email was the subject line, “Which Dress Are You?”. I like being able to see the different styles and discovering which one matches most with my personal taste and personality the best. For this particular email, they were having a sale on all of their dresses. Most of their dresses were also for summertime, which also made me start thinking and getting more excited for the warmer weather coming and new styles approaching with the new season. They were also having deals on their other products as well such as shoes, jewelry, bottoms, accessories, gifts and home decor. The content did matched the subject line, caught my eye, and then provided more offers and deals than I was expecting. The other email from them that caught my eye had the subject line “Don’t Miss Plenty for $20!”. They don’t call us broke college kids for nothing! I know my friends and I love deals like these because since we are not working as much being so focused on our school work, it is hard to afford expensive clothing at this stage in our life. The subject line matched the content in the actual email as well. They were selling dresses, clothing, accessories, tops, gifts & home decor for all $20. Again, providing more in the email than I was actually expecting. The call to action are all of the buttons in the email that link you directly to the website where all of the deals are located. I clicked on a couple of the buttons that lead me to the website to look at the different options, therefore it was very effective. I think the quantity was the perfect amount because it was a nice surprise opening the email to more offers than originally expected. I think that this email was sent out to their entire database. This email did accomplish its objective which involved driving more traffic to their webpage as well as increasing the amount of revenue for their company by offering all of those deals for their products. The next email from this brand should be a survey for their customers to take to see what types of clothing and products they would like to see the brand produce to give the company some more ideas into what their targeted audience is looking for so they can reach more people.
