My name is Maria, I am a 21 year old student attending Siena College. Fashion has always been a passion of mine since I was a little girl. I love dressing up and styling different outfits together whether it is for a party, event, or just wearing on the street on a daily basis. I live in upstate NY, so with all of the season changes the fashion changes with it as well. My favorite seasons are the spring and fall because it is not too hot, but not too cold. Unfortunately, where I live we only get a couple months of nice warm weather and the rest of the year is so cold that all you want to do is where leggings, boots and oversized sweatshirts! As much as I love being comfortable, I LOVE dressing up just as much and feeling like a million bucks. I love all different types of clothing whether it is tops, pants, jackets, or shoes. I also love to complete outfits by accessorizing my outfits whether it is with a cute scarf or leg warmers. I love fashion because not only is it fun and stylish, but I strongly believe that it expresses the individual and their personality. Everyone has their own sense of style and different preferences to what they like to wear. Not just with the types of clothing that they wear, but even as little as their color scheme as well. My sense of style is more diverse, I enjoy messing around with all different types of looks, depending on my mood that day. Some days I could be feeling more street style with converse sneakers, ripped jeans and a jean jacket, other days I will be feeling more classier and fancy with nice leather boots, leggings and a cute classy sweater. As I said before, accessorizing is very important too when it comes to styling an outfit. By adding jewelry or a scarf can really pull the outfit together to complete the full look. How an individual dresses also is a strong expression of their identity as a person. It is important to know the type of person that you are or who you want to be, but it helps to dress the part as well.
